WITH only three sleeps to go to timeOUT Day In The Park, local fashion retailers are reporting an influx of punters looking to get kitted out with fresh threads for the big day.
Bree Diggle from Cairns Central fashion retailer Universal said this year’s hot festival fashions are simple, bright colours and geometric shapes, jazzed up with a few accessories to fit the festival vibe.
"This season there are definitely lots of bold, geometric prints," she said.
"Think basic bright colours like orange, with a dash of floral and lots of jewellery to complete the festival look."
Festival goers are also encouraged to think utilitarian with their fashion.
Kicking off at 3pm on Saturday, punters are reminded to stay hydrated and slip, slop, slap.
