This year, Cairns Amateurs Ball hit the sparkling new Cairns Cruise Liner Terminal.
The move allowed organisers to go beyond the traditional buffet and general seating style of past events, offering premium tickets than included allocated seating and a plated three course meal.

And best of all, no matter which ticket they entered on, last night everyone looked like they were really having a ball. The Amateurs action continues today at Cannon Park with an eight race program.
