Get a laugh-and-a-half with Dave Williams and Paul Brasch at the Sit Down Comedy Club. 

After a successful run at Blue Sky Brewery, The Cairns Sit Down Comedy Club has found a new home at LILO Wet Bar’s function rooms at Rydges Plaza Hotel in the city.

The same great shows and hilarious acts will feature, just in a new location. The first is this Friday, featuring two wickedly funny TV comedians, Dave Williams and Paul Brasch.

Comedy Club producer Melinda Norris says to expect another big night of laughs at the new venue.

“The Cairns Sit Down Comedy Club opened in May 2011. With five shows under our belt, two of those shows being total sell-outs at 200 people, we feel we have been very successful in launching the club and offering new alternatives for entertainment and night-life here in Cairns,” she says.

“We are really excited about trialling the new venue for the comedy club. Performance and entertainment is about constant tweaking the elements to get it right. And that is what we are doing; trying new approaches and adjustments to get the shows just right.”
