Big weekend at Cairns Regional Gallery with close of The Postcard Show 2011 and two new exhibition openings
A series of exhibitions are on show at the Cairns Regional Gallery, including their annual fundraiser The Postcard Show and Red Sofa Syndrome, an exhibition by students from TNQ TAFE.
The Postcard Show closes this Sunday, with the gallery open from 1pm. Bidding for the works cease at 2.30pm, with the final auction at 3pm. Results will be featured in next week’s edition of timeOUT.
Red Sofa Syndrome is by The Sofaites – visual arts students.
Other exhibitions opening this weekend include Impress: Body to Body, featuring the works of 12 Cairns ceramic artists, and Ben Trupperbaumer’s Passing Through, Lasting Impressions, on Friday night.
