AFTER four weeks of frantic social media promotions and voting online, the 2011 timeOUT Awards wraps up its voting period tomorrow night.

Presented by The Cairns Post’s entertainment liftout timeOUT, the awards seek to recognise the Far North’s top entertainment, arts and culture movers and shakers through a reader’s poll online at cairns.com.au.

In their third year, the timeOUT Awards are well on track to beat last year’s total of 24,000 votes across 17 categories – but there is still time to show your support.

Readers have until midnight tomorrow to cast their votes with winners to be announced at a special gala ceremony at Salt House Restaurant and Bar on January 7.

Salt House earned the right to host this year’s awards by taking out the Best Bar category in two consecutive years in 2009 and 2010.

Full details for the awards presentations will be in next Thursday’s edition of timeOUT.

>> Cast your last minute votes in the timeOUT Awards 2011 at cairns.com.au/timeoutawards until midnight on Saturday.
