Lush will have you swooning this Valentine's Day

This Valentine’s Day, Lush invites you to Swoon, a special cabaret evening at Bohemia in the heart of Cairns.

They say there is no better aphrodisiac than some saucy cabaret and Swoon proves this in full, featuring a selection of the region’s best artisans delivering a dazzling selection of burlesque and vaudeville numbers, while the Hot N Wet Swing Set heats up the dance floor.

Performers include Amelia Pegrum, Ulrik Strodl, Sophia Scarlett, Zelda Da, Paul Barron, Leigh Paine, Brett Walsh, Velvet Eldred, Mr Hart and Mr Breeze, who will all don their alter egos on the night (most of which can’t be printed here!).

Lush producers Dave Breeze, Zelda Da and Velvet Eldred said they aim to create cabaret that “reflects the wildness and luxuriance of the Wet Tropics”.

“Lush brings together an incredible array of talent, proving that Far North Queensland is fertile creative ground – you won’t find entertainment like this anywhere else north of the tropic of Capricorn,” Ms Da says.

“Swoon will be an amazing show, truly variety theatre.

“We have mermaids, fan dancers, acrobats, and of course hot swing music.

“Risqué, bizarre, sexy, hilarious – we’re going to make you Swoon.”
