JOURNEYMAN flanker Beau Robinson believes the Queensland Reds are set to prove themselves as the deepest team in world rugby.

The Wallabies forward said the side’s ability to deal with injuries last season had bolstered their confidence going into this season.

"No matter who we lose, we seem to be able to fill that gap which is quite pleasing going into the start of the season," he said.

Robinson previously played for the NSW Waratahs and Benevento Gladiators in Italy before coming to Queensland at the start of 2010.

He earned a call-up into the Wallabies team last season.

But, Robinson is not taking anything for granted going into the first trial of the season against the ACT
Brumbies.

"Obviously I’d like to cement my place in the No. 7 and put in a good performance," he said.
