LNP dared on Budget surplus
Queensland Deputy Premier and Treasurer Andrew Fraser has called on Liberal National Party leader Campbell Newman to tell voters when his party would deliver a Budget surplus.
The Queensland Government has announced a return to surplus in 2014-15, one year ahead of schedule.
But Mr Fraser says the LNP still can not say when it would bring the Budget back to surplus.
"For a party who claims to have the best interests of Queensland’s economy front and centre, this simply isn’t good enough," he said in a statement.
"We’ve played our part by making Queensland’s economic position clear in the recent mid-year review. Now is the
time for them to tell us when they’ll actually deliver."
