You're the voice in issues campaign
Kylie Clarke knows she is affected by State Government decisions every day, but struggles to imagine ever having a say in anything our leaders do.
It’s that type of thinking that The Weekend Post's Your Voice Survey is designed to correct.

For two months last year, Ms Clarke commuted from her former home at Edmonton to the Cairns CBD nearly every day looking for work with her young daughter Sian in tow.
So it's of little surprise she has a keen interest in the state of the Bruce Highway, employment opportunities in the Far North and the type of education her daughter will get when she starts prep next year – all key issues at the March 24 election.
"Without realising it, we all think about these things in our everyday running around, but I suppose you never really think you can do anything to make a change," Ms Clarke said.
"There are things like debates and forums when elections are on.
"But for people like me, when you're not interested in the political side of it, you want to have your say without getting involved with the rest of it."
The Your Voice Survey, launched online today, asks questions about important State Government issues such as health, education, police and indigenous welfare.
It also provides an outlet for you to shed light on issues that might not usually be discussed by candidates or this newspaper.
"So often it is the political candidates that set the agenda for an election," The Weekend Post’s online director Andrew Simpson said.
"But The Weekend Post wants you to weigh in and rate the importance of the issues in your electorate."
There are more than 60 questions in the survey, but it takes less than 10 minutes to complete.
It is open to anyone living in the Far Northern seats of Cairns, Cook, Barron River, Mulgrave, Hinchinbrook and Dalrymple.
