Croco-meter to predict election poll's weekly winners and losers
MEET Sollie, the 4.3m estuarine crocodile with a touch of political attitude. Aged about 60 years, give or take a decade, and weighing in at 350kg, you don't want to question this big fella's judgment.
Which is why he is our choice for a bit of animal logic during the state election campaign.

Wildlife manager Drew Melville has been working at Hartley's Crocodile Adventures for more than 20 years and said Sollie was "a dude that's used to getting his own way".
"Last time he was measured about 10 years ago, he was 4.3m and he's grown a bit since then," he said.
"He has a pretty stereotypical life for a crocodile. It's varied only by periodic feeds and interacting with his female."
Well, now it's about to get a little more interesting.
Sollie will put his psychic powers to the test for The Weekend Post to predict which of the major parties fares best each week during the campaign, which starts tomorrow.
Will it be the Bligh Camp - the chicken? Or will it be the fish representing the Newman corner.
While he will consider the policies, he will say "no comment" on the issue of croc culling.
"He doesn't want to talk on behalf of his wild counterparts. He only likes to comment on issues that affect him - no uneducated opinions," Mr Melville said.
