Jordan Brodie, The Medics and The McMenamins at QMusic Awards in Brisbane
A selection of Cairns and Far Northern talent will make their presence known at the 2012 Queensland Music Awards in Brisbane in August.
QMusic announced the huge list of finalists and live performances on the big night, with local hero Jordan Brodie in the running for two awards in the Regional and School category and former Far Northern acts The Medics and 8 Ball Aitken, who now live in Brisbane, also featuring in the Indigenous and Country categories respectively.
In addition, brother and sister duo The McMenamins will also perform on the night, after winning the Regional category in 2011, alongside popular acts like Ed Kuepper, Ball Park Music, Marialy Pacheco and more.
Emma Louise, 8 Ball Aitken and The Medics are also nominated in The Courier Mail's People's Choice Awards.
