Global Battle Of The Bands Cairns heat at Cazaly's
Another Far Northern band will get a chance to smile like the boys from Peyote did last year (pictured right in Sydney), with the Global Battle Of The Bands Cairns Heat at Cazalys tonight.
The international competition provides a great chance for a local band to strut their stuff on the national stage – and if successful, the international one, too, and a chance to have a crack at the big $100,000 prize money.
Psychedelic rockers Peyote took it all the way to the Australasian Finals last year, taking out third spot.
Local bands in contention tonight include Salacious, Jimmy The One, Zilch, Sworf and more.
Support local live music and head down and cheer on your favourite North Queenslanders to live music glory!
>> The Global Battle Of The Bands Cairns Heat is Friday at Cazalys from 8pm-11.30pm. Tickets are $15, this is an all‑ages show.
