Get ready to rock with Julia Zemiro, Brian Nankervis and the rest of the team from one of Australia's favourite music television shows.

In 2010, television’s RocKwiz team hit the road around the country, playing 35 shows in 19 packed venues across Australia.
A rotating roster of stars surprised and delighted audiences around the country with the dynamic live show.

Contestants (taken from the general public) demonstrated amazing rock knowledge and performed karaoke with the RocKwiz Orkestra.

After a couple of years off, Julia Zemiro, partner-in-crime Brian Nankervis and the rest of the RocKwiz team are back at it again, with the 2012 Some Kind Of Genius Tour set to land in the Great Hall of Cairns Convention Centre again on October 20.

Free from the constraints of a 40-minute television program recorded in a pub, Julia, Brian, the RocKwiz Orkestra and Dugald will serve up an extended music trivia treat for the Far North and want you on board as a contestant.

Obviously musical knowledge is required, but anyone and everyone is able to put their hand up for a spot.

Everyone who buys a ticket has the chance to be selected as part of the panel, selected by Brian Nankervis on the day of the show.

“Anyone is welcome to put their hand up,” Brian says. “We’re hoping  Cairns will again have some rock trivia nuts to participate.”

While the Great Hall of the Convention Centre is not a small venue, tickets are expected to go fast, so get in early for your chance at rock’n’roll glory.
