This week is your last chance to get your entry in for the Capture The Cairns Post competition for Cairns Festival.

The Cairns Post, Cairns Festival and Michael Aw The Good Guys have joined forces to give one lucky budding local photographer the chance to take home a new Canon 650D digital SLR camera.

The Capture The Cairns Post competition challenges local photographers to capture an edition of The Cairns Post newspaper in an image that reflects your lifestyle in Cairns.

How you interpret the brief is up to you, but the image must feature a recognisable edition of The Cairns Post in some way.

At the end of the competition, one lucky winner will be selected to take home the camera, with 30 top finalists having their work displayed at Cairns Festival HQ in City Place for the duration of the 2012 event.

In addition to the camera, five runners-up will take home 100 free 6x4 prints, also thanks to Michael Aw The Good Guys.
