Winning Oz Lotto ticket purchased at Townsville outlet
UPDATE 11:45AM: SOMEONE in North Queensland is holding the ticket which could make them $28 million richer after Oz Lotto confirmed this morning the winning ticket was purchased somewhere in Townsville.
Golden Casket has confirmed this morning that one of the Division 1 winners in last night’s record-breaking Oz Lotto draw is from the Townsville – although the ticket is unregistered and the winner has yet to claim their prize.
A spokesperson has urged everyone from the area who entered last night’s draw to re-check their tickets and contact the office on 131 868 if they have won.
“We’re hopeful that by later today we’ll know who it is or where it was purchased,” the spokesperson said.
“It’s worth more than $27 million. We know it’s unregistered and from Townsville.”
Last night's winning numbers were 29, 43, 8, 7, 15, 2 & 13 Sup 21 & 20.
