POLICE are conducting a wide-scale search for a woman who vanished from her Edmonton home on Monday afternoon.

Vera Stockwell, 35, was last seen at an Edmonton home between 4.30-6.30pm on Monday afternoon.

She has had no contact with her family since.

Police believe she may be in either the Cairns, Townsville or Ayr areas.
