AUSTRALIAN songbird and The Voice judge Delta Goodrem will perform at Smithfield Shopping Centre next weekend.

The performance at the shopping centre will be followed by a meet and greet with fans when she will sign copies of her new album Child of the Universe.

The centre and Sony Music management have confirmed that Goodrem, famous for such hits as Born To Try and Innocent Eyes, will perform three songs on Sunday November 25 from 11am.

Goodrem, who will also perform at Willows Shopping Centre in Townsville on Saturday as part of a string of national instore appearances, said Child of the Universe had some of the best tracks she had ever written.

"All the lyrics signify what I feel about the world right now," she said.

"For the gravity of what I went through in these past couple of years, you have to listen to the rest of the record. It's all in there."

Child of the Universe is Goodrem's fourth studio album. The 15 tracks express "a search for universal truth".

Her performance at Smithfield Shopping Centre on Sunday will be on the lawn between The Cheesecake Shop and Dan Murphy's.
