12pm: A 24-YEAR-OLD Tully man has died following a serious traffic crash at Bulgun on November 18.

Just after 5pm, a silver Toyota Landcruiser was travelling east on Lizzio Road when it crossed onto the opposite side of the road and collided with a tree, approximately 100 metres west of Bulgun Road.

It is believed the vehicle had been leaving Alligator’s Nest swimming hole.

The man, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was transported to Townsville Hospital where he died late yesterday afternoon.

Police are continuing to appeal for any witnesses of the crash to contact Innisfail Traffic Branch on 4061 5718.
