Cargo train involved in truck crash near Forest Gardens

UPDATE 3PM: THE intersection of Sheehy Rd and the Bruce Highway at White Rock will be closed to traffic until approximately 6pm tonight after a truck collided with a cargo train earlier today.

It is believed no one was injured in the crash which happened just before 12.30pm.

Traffic needing access to Trinity Anglican School, White Rock Primary School and other nearby streets should access the area via Coombs St.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible until further notice.
