Atherton model could be new face for national fashion label
NATIONAL fashion label Quirky Circus is looking for the next big thing and with a little help from the Far North, Atherton model Danielle Barletta could be it.
Danielle, 16, is one of 120 girls who are vying for the chance to front playful advertising campaigns for Quirky Circus, a feminine, vintage-inspired label stocked exclusively at Myer stores across Australia.
She said she's a little nervous in the lead-up to tomorrow's online voting deadline, after entering the competition later than other entrants.
"I have been looking at the leaderboard and the first girl who entered has over 2000 votes, so I am a little nervous,'' she said.
Launched two weeks ago, the competition runs in two phases, kicking off with the online photo competition that will then be narrowed down to six finalists, before the winner is announced on December 20.
Danielle, who started modelling a year ago and has since done numerous photo shoots, runway shows and promotional work, said she would be thrilled to have the opportunity to advance further in the competition.
"I've never entered many competitions before, it would be amazing,'' she said.
Voting for the Face of Quirky Circus competition closes tomorrow, to vote for Danielle, visit www.facebook.com/quirkycircus and follow the links.
