Earlville man captured after alleged six-month crime spree

A 37-year-old Earlville man has been captured after an alleged six-month crime spree which included crimes in Mackay, Townsville and Cairns.

The charges relate to numerous offences between April and August this year, including the alleged break and entry of a Mackay display home in April and the alleged theft of a boat and trailer from Alva Beach in June. 

He was charged with two counts each of fraud, disposing of tainted property and entering premises and stealing, and one count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

 

The man is scheduled to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on December 14.
