Brooke Evers might not have any facial hair to call her own, but the gorgeous Gold Coast model, journalist and DJ is making her way north this weekend to help wrap Cairns Mo Bros annual Movember celebrations.

For the fourth year running, Society Bar & Nightspot has hosted the Cairns Mo Bros Challenge with the aim to raise as much awareness, money and facial hair as possible during the month of November.

For the past month, over 30 registered Mo Men have been participating in the challenge, meeting every Friday afternoon at Salt House to raise money and compare their weekly growth.

13 local businesses are on board with the initiative alongside Society, including Salt House , O2 Magazine, Spire Clothing, AFL CapeYork, MyStyle Homes, Eugenes Auto Electrical, Northern Pride, Arnel Fencing, Jetfast Tees, Bullsnips, Rehab Cafaacé, Destination Fitness, Jackleys Bakehouse.

Both sporting their own impressive facial growths, Society co-owners Myles Minter and Shannon Baier-Dry believe that Movember is the best time of the year.

"It's a time for normal blokes to get together and just be blokes," Myles says.

"It's been great to see how the Cairns Mo Bros group has grown over the past few years and we thank all the new members and business partners who've come on board in 2012."

After four weeks, the time has finally come this weekend for the big shave off.

Society Bar & Nightspot is once again hosting the Movember Ender Party this Friday night.

Kicking off at 3pm with a BBQ followed by the party from 5pm, it will feature a DJ set from Brooke Evers, alongside the big shave off, live mo-tattooing and presentation of the prestigious title of Mo-Man 2012, for the participant with the best facial hair.

Society Bar & Nightspot's Movember Ender Party with Brooke Evers is Friday, November 30, from 5pm-late. Entry is free, all welcome.
