Man charged with assaulting Cairns ambulance officer
A Cairns man will appear in court next month charged with the assault of an ambulance officer.
Police were called to a home at Draper St, Parramatta Park, about 7am on Saturday after it is alleged a 30-year-old man threatened a member of the Queensland Ambulance Service.
The man fled the scene and police located him in Sheridan St.
The man was charged with one count each of unlawful possession of native wildlife, possess utensil, possess dangerous drug, possess substance and serious assault of a public officer. He will appear in the Cairns Magistrates' Court on January 9.
