Wildcard entries added in The Cairns Post Hit Awards 2013
Speak and you shall be heard! More musicians, events and films have been added to this year's The Cairns Post Hit Awards voting courtesy of the wildcard system.
The Cairns Post Hit Awards 2013 have received an unprecidented amount of support from readers over the last four days, with over 12,000 votes cast since kicking off on Thursday.
Responding to demand from voters through our new wildcard system, a series of nominees have been added to regular voting across seven of this year's awards categories.
All votes already received will count towards their main total, with many of our wildcards in 2013 right up there with the frontrunners. Congratulations to all those who have made it through and big thanks to all those who have registered their vote already.
Voting will remain open until 5pm on February 7, with the wildcard system in operation until the end of the competition. If your favourite musical group, solo artist, event, venue or exhibition isn't in these lists, you still have time to register your support so the are in with a chance.
