Bush fire threatens houses near at Millstream
UPDATE: Houses are under threat by a bush fire burning at Millstream, just south of Ravenshoe.
The fire is believed to have broken out around 11.40am along Dalrymple Dr and has now spread to Millstream Parade.
Fifteen crews continue to battle a fast-moving bushfire that is threatening property at Millstream on the Tableland.
Fire fighters are yet to bring the bush fire under control and nearby residents are advised there will be heavy smoke in the area.
Residents at the western end of Millstream Parade and Waterview Close should monitor the situation and remain vigilant.
The Kennedy Highway remains open although motorists are advised to proceed with caution.
