CAIRNS Regional Council workers have started repairing a leak in the freshwater lake at Centenary Lakes, Greenslopes St, Edge Hill. 
 

CAIRNS Regional Council workers have started repairing a leak in the freshwater lake at Centenary Lakes, Greenslopes St, Edge Hill.

They discovered a hole below the spillway that had led to a marked drop in water levels.

A council spokeswoman said repairs were underway this morning.

"No major impact is expected and rain forecast for this week will boost the levels," she said.
