Jimmy Cliff booked for second show at Tanks after first show sells out
AFTER an overwhelming response from Cairns music fans, Tanks Arts Centre has announced a second show from reggae superstar Jimmy Cliff after the first show on March 20 sold out over two months in advance.
From, I Can See Clearly Now to The Harder They Come, the 64-year-old singer and actor has spent the past four decades spreading the reggae beat around the world and is touring Australia to promote his landmark 29th studio album, Rebirth.
Landing in Cairns on the eve of headline shows at Byron Bay's annual Bluesfest, Jimmy Cliff will perform another show on Tuesday, March 19 at Tanks for anyone who missed out on a ticket the first time round.
Jimmy Cliff performs at Tanks Arts Centre on Tuesday, March 19 and Wednesday, March 20 (March 20 sold out). Tickets are $60, from ticketlink.com.au or 1300 855 835.
