A PHOTO of a group of men wakeboarding along a flooded roadside in Cairns has landed a Mareeba teenager a court date.

The 18-year-old alleged driver of the ute in the photographs has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, and will appear in court on February 15.

A series of photographs of the men, taken by a Brinsmead photographer in the wake of heavy rainfall in Cairns, went viral on the internet this week.
