Bellenden Ker & Deeral

Bellenden Ker and Deeral are small rural areas in the south of the Cairns Local Government Area, located on the highway between Gordonvale and Babinda, west of Bramston Point and Russell Heads. Deeral services recreational fishing activities, as it is close to a number of good fishing locations - freshwater and coastal, while Bellenden Ker is the location of the region's highest mountain peak. Bellenden Ker is about 48mins drive south of Cairns CBD.
