When is the 2010 timeOUT Day In The Park?
The Festival will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2011. The gates open at 3.00pm.

How many tickets are available?
A total of 7,500 tickets are available.
 
How do I get a ticket to this year's timeOUT Day In The Park?
Tickets can be purchased for $80 from The Cairns Post reception at 22-24 Abbott St, Cairns or with your credit card by calling 07 4052 6934. Tickets go on sale on Monday, July 4. Tickets can also be purchased for a discounted price between Monday, July 4 and Friday, July22. This promotion is for residents of Far North Queensland, and more information can be found in the event info tab.
 
What time does the festival close?
The Festival will finish at 10.00pm sharp. The Fogarty Park site must be vacated immediately thereafter.
 
What should I wear?
Appropriate clothing and footwear must be worn at all times. Closed in shoes are recommended.
 
What should I bring with me?
• Your timeOUT Day In The Park ticket
• Appropriate clothing
• Appropriate footwear (closed in shoes are recommended)
• Enough cash for the day
• Your mobile phone
• For 18+, Photo ID (Current valid driver's license, proof of age card or passport)
 
What items are NOT ALLOWED inside the festival?
Glass, cans, alcohol, water bottles, illegal drugs, skateboards, boogie boards, folding chairs, weapons of any kind, fireworks, professional cameras/equipment, video and tape recording devices, laser pointers, umbrellas, water pistols, pets or animals, any other items considered illegal or dangerous.
 
Can I take water into the festival?
No. Free water stations will be readily available for festival goers inside the festival and bottled water will also be available for purchase.
 
Will there be pass outs at the event?
No. For security reasons, there will be no pass outs. If you leave the festival venue, you will not be allowed back in without buying another ticket.
 
Can I bring alcohol into the festival?
No. There are several bars within the festival which are licensed to sell alcohol. All bags will be search at the entrance and banned items will be confiscated and not returned.
 
Do I need cash to buy drinks at the bar?
Cash is preferred so make sure you bring enough for the day. In case you don’t, please note an EFTPOS terminal will be available at each bar.
 
Will there be ATM facilities?
An EFTPOS terminal will be available at the box office.
 
Are children allowed to attend the festival?
• All patrons under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian aged 20 years or older at all times at the festival.

• Children aged 11 and under are admitted free but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (over over 20) at all times.

• 12 or older must buy a ticket.

• A parent or guardian may accompany a maximum of 3 minors only.

• Each parent or guardian must present valid proof of age at the entry gate to show that they are aged 20 years or older.

• Patrons under the age of 14 will be refused entry, if their nominated parent or guardian is not present with them at the entry gate and to accompany them at the festival.

• It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to ensure that patrons under the age of 14 accompanying them, comply with instructions issued by festival staff and/or contained in all permanent and temporary signage throughout the festival site.

• If a patron aged under 14 is evicted, their parent or guardian will also be evicted. NO EXCEPTIONS.

• Any breach of the these conditions may result in the eviction of the parent and guardian and accompanying patrons aged under 14 from the festival site.

 
Where will I find lost property?
Lost property will be held at The Cairns Post, 22-24 Abbott Street, Cairns, for no longer than 3 months. If you have an enquiry about lost property, please call (07) 4052 6934. After 3 months, all unclaimed lost property will be donated to charity.
